Let Her Speak

Let Her Speak is an exploration of the restrictions placed on women from the moment they are born.

Representing disapproval, consent, expectation, and knowing one's place in society, this collection is a powerful, personal walk through what I have been confronted with as a woman my whole life.

The collection culminates in the namesake piece "Let Her Speak," simply depicting a woman who has finally been given the chance to share herself, but must first overcome the frustration and rage that has been building inside her since before she could talk.
